Good morning all from a sleepy Glasgow.
I am sorry to read that so many of you are struggling.
Yesterday was so busy again. I went to Morrisons for fish, the fish counter in our local store is excellent. They had none, in fact most of the shelves were empty. There had been no deliveries for days, apparently there were technical issues with deliveries. A totally wasted trip.
The afternoon was spent in church, doing risk assessment, with the help of the my young sacristan friend. He is so supportive, as at times I struggle. I feel relieved that I have managed to catch up on some of my tasks.
DS messaged to say that Babydoll, was missing us. I replied that we were missing her too, but not enough to do another day of nursing! 🤣
Last night I received a phone call from the Diocesan Office to say that they had been trying to reach the P.P. all day, but couldn't contact him.
Our Parish hall is being used for Safeguarding training today and the trainers wanted to check they could get access early.
I confirmed that I had already been in, set the heating and got everything ready.
The caller laughed and said that the trainers knew MD would have been on the ball.
They are bringing a new projector, (ours is broken), but unsure how it works, so with my IT co-ordihator hat on, I am going to set it up.
How I long for a quiet life! 😉
I must dash, my hair looks like a bird's nest and needs washed. I have neglected my appearance this week (too harassed and tired) and I have my public to face!
Safe journey if you are travelling and best wishes to all, who are unwell or struggling. 💕
