Good morning from East Lothian. Our train journey yesterday from the south coast started in sunshine and ended in rain! We arrived considerably later than planned due to a late Kings Cross to York train, causing us to miss our connection to Dunbar. We had to wait for the next Edinburgh train and then a bus. We were just too late at Waverley for a bus so had to wait nearly an hour for the next. We passed some time buying milk, bread and butter to take to the flat so we could at least have tea and toast this morning before a shopping trip to stock up. We slept very well!

Grandmattie, I wanted to go to the Van Gogh but our various health blips stopped me booking. I’m glad you enjoyed it, but no wonder you’re tired!
