Good Morning Everyone ,
A dark but dry start here in brackley this morning.
Today stay in expecting a meals delivery from Wiltshire Foods , so get on with some housework .
Health front , slowly regaining weight , its a case of avoiding junk food as to things .
Take Care,
Mick

Domestic pottering this morning, singing this afternoon but need to catch up with myself first as I went back to sleep so am all behind. Enjoyable WI yesterday evening with quiz and blind testing of festive foods (Waitrose definitely the winner in three out of four categories) and lots of donations for the food bank, so a very successful evening.

Sorry to read of so much pain and illness and hope today brings relief.

Good morning from -2° on the Angus coast where there has been a very heavy frost which is not going to lift. Very pretty - but a tad chilly to say the least.
I'm late this morning - that beautiful moon and a black starry sky kept me awake last night - so I haven't time to read your posts just now. That's a pleasure for coffee break but I do hope there's some improvement for all the poorlies and that painkillers are working for those who need them.
Yesterday was a great tai chi class and for the first time since going down with that awful cold four weeks or so ago I was able to do both sets with the class as well as a good teaching segments. Oh joy!
My new hearing aids are better than my "managed expectations" allowed me to hope for 😉. I can't put my finger on the difference - a bit more clarity I suppose - but I feel more confident which is lovely.
Now I must go and 'get wrapping and packaging' for the two present exchanges on Thursday and Friday ......
Have a good day everyone 🎄🎁🎶

Redcar you have my sympathy - my hands are not nearly as strong as they were and some things are a struggle. As with many of us I’m just thankful for the things I still can do. Like Georgesgran I have one of those inflators which is okay but an old one and I struggle to read it. DS says he’s not sure it’s very accurate. I may invest in a digital one that cuts off when the right pressure is reached.

It is a digital one, we have, Greyduster. Neevr had any problem with it.

Good to hear you are feeling better Taichinan, and good news about the hearing aids. I hope it will be the same for my DH when he finally has his appointment (5 months wait after his scan of his ear, which was 5 months after being referred back to NHS from Specsavers 😬).

Hope you get your travel arrangements sorted Ekwa - it does seem very cruel when people have made arrangements to be with family or friends at Christmas.

I’m still reading your posts daily, with admiration for those who achieve so much, sympathy for those in pain or have worries and joy for those with good tidings to share. Thank you for sharing your lives.

Litterpicker I'll keep my fingers crossed for your DH. I used Hidden Hearing who I think are extremely good. NHS aren't interested, probably because of my age, or at least that's how I felt, and Boots was abysmal. Anyway, good luck to your DH and 🤞
