Irrational dislikes of people you don’t know..

Oh dear, reading all your lists I seem to agree with most of them!

Except I love Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, the late Victoria Wood, Felicity Kendal and Joanna Lumley, love her voice!

I do like David Beckham, but not Victoria, I cannot stand Christian Horner, married to spice girl Gerry. I don’t know why but I find Clare Balding too “jolly hockey sticks” and dull.

Always hated Greg Wallace.

So many to loathe on TV, but I do love Vogue Williams and her baby (fairy advert)

Maybe your like my DH, he thinks that the sun shines out of every one's bottom. He hates any sort of bitchyness/criticism/ dissing when watching the TV! He is either lying/obtuse/saintly/an idiot or has insider knowledge??? Ps I also really dislike that Geordie woman chef on Masterchef uuummm? Angela.......???! 🤔

I don’t like James Martin either, even though I know he has a spaniel, which would normally win me over. I do like Rick Stein though, and I see others don’t.

I merely said I’ve had a lucky escape from knowing some of the “hated”.
There’s plenty of objectionable people to dislike already without knowing more!

I love James Martin. I've seen him live twice. He was good fun.

These posts have made me laugh. My Mam took an instant dislike to Jamie Oliver when he first appeared, her only justification being "I don't like his face". Now I find myself saying the same about a number of celebrities.....all men for some weird reason.

Tbh I never liked the woman but not because of an unfortunate book signing incident, she just looks really strict.

I've had far too many goes at this now.
And now my DH wants to get involved.

My DH enjoys sport, but he dislikes Sue Barker who presents A Question of Sport, so switches off for some reason.

I've often wondered about this too.
Perhaps we have been treated badly in the past by someone who looks similar but have forgotten about the original culprit?

I think a lot is to do with chemistry, I have instantly got along with some people in life and kept my distance from others, despite there being no particular reason why.

I agree. Half a wrong word aimed at Meghan Markle and there are huge protests from some on here who have posted more vitriolic comments than I’ve ever seen on one thread. Some of them are terribly hurtful.
