I hope to do my usual bus trip to Bicester this morning, yesterday someone said hello to me ,but did not recognise them as its over 20 plus years since I took early retirement from work .
Health Is Ok ,
Take Care,

Lost spectacles? Sounds as if it’s time to raise a prayer to St Anthony, Madeleine!

A late good morning from a blustery and damp Northampton. No need to go out today, no dance classes as it is half term, so a day at home lies ahead. I will probably clean the bathrooms and then vacuum the bedrooms and the stairs. Will not be looking for any more jobs after that.

Enjoyed the cinema yesterday, watched the screening of David Tennant's Macbeth; quite an avant garde production I thought. Not much was made of the witches scenes and very little of Lady Macbeth's *Out damned spot" speech, although her scene one soliloquy was very well done.
After my lovely cocktail for Bridget Jones on Wednesday, I thought a glass of red wine an apt drink to watch the film!

Chicken curry thawing out in the fridge for dinner tonight, so only rice to cook.

Happy Golden Wedding anniversary Mr and Mrs Baubles πŸŽ‰πŸΎπŸ΄πŸ’

Is it World Book Day?
When teaching and didn't know it was, I'd say I was "Old Spice" to the teacher's amusement - that was in the age of the Spice Girls.

Good morning Mick and all. We are under Yellow Warnings here for rain today and wind on Sunday. I shall sit back and dream of Spring, warm sunshine and daffodils! They can't be too far away now? Please?
A very happy Golden Weekend to the Baubles - and in such a beautiful place too.
And happy 70th to Anna pops.
I too have been wondering about Mizuna, but I know she sometimes has a posting sabbatical so I'm trusting all is well.
I hope those missing specs have revealed themselves Madeleine. The trouble with losing them is that you need them to help you find them πŸ˜‰
I really have nothing of any interest to report from here. The rain has now reached us and hatches are battened down. The kitchen is about to get its daily sprucing up as am I and January's tai chi paperwork is still glaring at me from across the room.
Enjoy your day everyone x

6th of March grandMattie I think people are planning ahead.

Grandmabatty Fri 21-Feb-25 11:24:29

GrandMattie 6th March is World Book Day. The teacher was planning ahead. I'm cheaper than a professional πŸ˜‚. I suppose if I had said no, she would have had to find another volunteer.
