My auntie 83 (late mum's sister) DH died 3 weeks ago.
Funeral was last Friday 28th.
Today one of uncles friends 87 asked her for a date.
As in his words 'life is to short to be on our own '
And it was definitely a date dinner and maybe a dance.

Maybe he's always fancied her and life is too short to leave it any longer.

BlueBelle

I don’t have any problem with the words Cheeky Fxxxer and would use it myself in full in chatting with someone the only reason I don’t write it in full here is because my post would be removed
What I do have a problem with is initials themselves which unless they are very common like OK or BBC are used either to seem in the ‘incrowd’, or maybe laziness
This thread title was provoking in my opinion hoping to draw people in to say as I did ‘what’s that then’ needing it a be explained to the ‘poor old dear’’
Why not put Cheeky eff or cheeky f or even cheeky xxxxxx in the title instead of CF
Marydoll I too thought of Cystic Fybrosis’

Others might not see it like that, and that’s fine too we re all different

I wrote it in full yesterday on here and no one has removed my post?

Looking at the Gransnet rules, you can swear. Although context is everything. On mumsnet swearing is widely accepted and happens quite alot.

When my, much older cousin died, her only child, who lived abroad, asked us to 'keep an eye' on her elderly father.
My husband and I would visit, sometimes we would go out for lunch, and I would phone him regularly, just to check up on him.
About 2 years after my cousins death, my husband died suddenly. Within a few weeks of his death, my cousin's widower was suggesting I go on cruises with him or move in with him, have weekends away etc.
I felt really uncomfortable going to visit on my own, so I decided to stop all contact.

Sexual attraction at funerals is nothing new.
There are psychological reasons for it.
