Overused Words.

“No problem” in reply to my saying thank you.

How much of our vocabulary would be left if we removed all of these?😂

I understand that we all haven or two words that irritate us, but this thread has become a version of One Man Went To Mow - people are reciting all the words others have used and adding one of their own without any explanation of why it is annoying,

But who can explain exactly why something grates on their nerves? There's often no logical reason; it just does!

I’m reading a book from the 40s and out comes the expression “killing!” for approval.
Disappeared now and probably disliked by the elders at the time.

With needs gone - (this just means I/we want it out of the way because another item of furniture will be arriving on such and such a day to take its’ place) …don’t you all realise there’s a war on ? 🙄 the war is against time wasting and making an effort and therefore words are rationed because folk are busy busy busy most if not all of the time and so these shorts hand phrases have “helpfully” evolved.
