Mr C has capitulated. Apparently paracetamol does dull pain. Who knew? . I printed off a Versus Arthritis exercise sheet and he’s been happily massaging his foot, doing stretches, applying ice and rolling his foot on a tennis ball. Apparently its working - a little bit. Patience I tell him. I did come across a good idea for a sort of two for the price of one. It involves freezing a small bottle of water and rolling that back and forth under the foot, exercise and ice in one. Mr C’s comment when we tried it? Thats jolly cold. Err, it’s supposed to be!

I’ve been catching up with some wretched paperwork today. Sat outside as darkness arrived watching the bats swooping around. I find them very relaxing to watch.

Hi kitchen pals, it’s been a lovely warm day here in Inverness, some light rain has just started
I enjoyed a couple of classes at the gym but tbh it was a bit too hot and I didn’t have much energy. I was pleased to get home afterwards and pottered in the garden for a while

Brook I'm certainly relaxing! The boys were really good today. My ankles have swollen up and I'm about to raise them to try and deal with it. I'm watching Wimbledon at the moment. I hope everyone is ok.
We were at soft play this morning but dgs1 had a headache so we came home early. Lots of drawing and some time on the iPad for both of them. We went into the garden for a while, then chatted to neighbours then a short walk to swing park then home. Dgs2 pulled out the train set and began to build it while dgs1 insisted I play football in the hall with a soft ball. Then the cushions came off the couches and they played 'The floor is lava', taking it in turns to be a lava monster or zombie. Dd picked them up at half five. I've had potato wedges, a chicken fillet and made a chili dip. I've put away all the toys and that'll be me til tomorrow. Phew!

Hi all, blinds closed/opened, windows ditto, chiller unit off and on, it’s a warm one. Voluntary phones not too bad, all fixed with lifts now, on we go to quiz, by home time about 10 it’ll be comfortable outside!
I’m pleased sense took over corner and hope he reaps the rewards.
