Good morning from a dry and mild NE.
Yesterday was an emotional day, I was so grateful for the support of DS and DIL.
Later in the evening I rang and talked to my sister as she had been very nervous about her hospital appointment.
SIL arrived in the UK last night and sent me a message, he thought I might like to skip the shopping today and just take some time to reflect.
Have a good day.

Looks as if we will have a few days of closed curtains and not too much outside effort, summer has arrived at last. Singing this afternoon and garden watering this evening are the main features of today and must hunt out some cooler clothes.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 14Β° and cloudy. Karma lovely dress.
Yesterday I had a shower and washed my hair in addition to hoovering. I ended up having a poor sleep and was having a cuppa at one o'clock in the morning.
Today my son is visiting. He's taken a week off work to do maintenance stuff on his flat., some of which involves going on the roof. It worries me intensely but he's a grown man.
I think I'll have baked potato and salad for dinner. Have a good day all.

Morning from a sunny S Hants, predicted high of 28 later, a better night, not so much coughing and no fever. Yesterday was quiet, I was fit for nothing really, my son rang in the evening to see how I was.
Bedding in the machine, thanks MrJ, I’ll have a go at washing floors later in between jiggling the blinds about.
Welcome back Oldudders and well done Iris πŸ‘

Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire.

Yesterday morning we went into the city to check out the accessible parking and the distance to my opticians. It’s a couple of years since I was last there and I am in need of new glasses. In the afternoon we had our usual walk down to the dock gates.

We are going to Lytham this morning for a walk along the prom.

Condolences to Harris and Harrigran flowers.

Good to hear Iris is doing well GrandMattie.

As always, my thoughts are with those dealing with illness and troubles, I hope the day brings you some comfort and relief.

Have the best day you can 🌹

Good morning everyone from the Essex coast. Very warm already.
It's days like this that are the reason we had air-conditioning fitted a few years ago.
We are going into town this morning for a few bits. Not much else on the agenda today.
S finished her GCSE's and school yesterday. Hopefully she has done enough for the college course she wants to do.
Have a lovely day everyone, take care in the sun. Best wishes to all xx

A quick good morning from a hot and sunny S E Essex.

Second sports day of the year, this time it’s The Imp this morning and his big brother this afternoon.

Hopefully I can get to the gym between the two.

Have a good day πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ

Good morning everyone from another bright and sunny 🌞 🌞 day in Northampton. Just looked at the forecast and it is set to be like this for another couple of weeks.

Enjoyed my walk yesterday afternoon and luckily some of it was in shade through woods, so wasn't too hot. There were about 15 of us. Was grateful to reach the cafe afterwards where I enjoyed a lovely iced coffee. Got the bus home as I didn't feel like another half hour walk!
Sat out in shade again under the pergola and read more Pride and Prejudice.
Remembered I had the end of a bottle of Prosecco left so enjoyed that before dinner!

Need to clean the bathrooms this morning and wash the floors. Must also finish an Avon order - my usual rep has.become very unreliable, so when a new book popped through the door yesterday from a new local rep I thought I'd give her a try.
Then more reading outside the afternoon.

Hope Marydoll feels better soon. Thinking of those with sadness in their lives at the moment.

Enjoy your day at Delapre Abbey, ginny, I haven't been for years.
