Just a bit of Friday trivia grin

Mine has to be the soap powders / fabric conditioners. Could literally spend half an hour looking at all the different brands .

Oh Aldi’s Aisle of wonder! Or is that Lidl’s designation?

So many things I didn’t even know existed or that I actually needed them?

Yes!

I was waiting for someone to suggest deliveries, but my DD does and the things that get substituted are mind boggling. Lidl don't do home delivery.. perhaps your idea of rude is different to mine. I think it's rude telling me an item is where it's always been,if I knew where it had always been, I wouldn't have asked. Maybe it depends where you live, Im in the SE UK corner 10 minutes away from the sea. All the people who have been rude have been between 50/70. I expect better. I was brought up to be polite and have respect. I went to a pet store recently, young lady serving, guessing late 20s. Chatting about our respective animals, general chit chat. I had just been in another store where, the Indian gentleman called me darling, I thought that was sweet,he was probably my kids age.She had the vapours,if she had been wearing pearls, they would definitely have been clutched.

I love supermarket shopping, my favourite is the reduced aisle or section.

I have a regular Sainsbury's delivery and very rarely get substitutions. I live at charmed life.

And if there is a very occasional substitution, you don't have to accept it!

Wherever the custard tarts are.

Ooh, haven't had a custard tart for a long time.
I'll put them on the list for tomorrow!

Preferably a U turn ailse that leads me quickly back out, or if not the reduced food ailse to see if perhaps something I would like to eat, is actually at a price I can afford!!

My favourite isle is the one that leads to the shortest checkout queue
