Dismal forecast after yesterday’s bonus sunny day which allowed bedding etc to be dried outside but more wind and rain today. Thoughts with Marydoll and Kitty and hoping today provides a positive outcome for both.

Good morning all. Up late today as had little sleep over the last week due to having to share a room with DH who snores a great deal. I’m surprised he’s not black and blue due to the repeated elbows and kicks.

So sorry to read about your bad dental experience yesterday Karmalady. I had similar and my jaw still aches and I had pain radiating down my neck but seems much better today. But
my tooth was saved.

Ocado later this morning and then school pickup later.

Morning all. I always read, rarely post but couldn’t just scroll by without sending thoughts and hugs if required to Kitty MD the FGT’s and anyone else who might benefit from a virtual group hug.
The weathers not helping much either- it’s grey and very wet here on the East Suffolk coast. Still I suppose the rain is welcome, but overnight would be better😉. x

CT scan and colonoscopy ordered.
I'm just relieved to have seen a consultant.

I met our former lollipop lady in the waiting room, where she proceeded to tell me of all the people, who had died recently!
Cheery talk, given the circumstances.
DH was not amused. He thought he had got away with me not meeting someone.🤣

I know what you mean about the lollipop lady conversation.
When the medics were fighting for my husband's life the hospital chaplain sat with me and gave me chapter and verse on his wife's death!
It's a good thing that we have a sense of humour isn't it.

Marydoll good grief, not what you wanted to hear in a waiting room!
I had a curtailed visit to the school library this morning. The flu vaccination was being done in the space and I didn't think it was appropriate that I was there, despite the shelves being in a mess with books on the floor too. I will be keeping an eye on that as I have my suspicions as to which class were responsible.
I have messaged the tree man who is coming out later to quote on removing a long hedge and replacing it with a fence. I expect it will be expensive but it's leylandii and truly horrible

I hope you don’t have to wait too long for the scan and colonoscopy and so glad that finally someone is taking an interest in your care after the neglect from your surgery.
