Good morning all from a showery Glasgow, where it is 11°C,
GMB, what an awful thing to happen. The same thing happened to us once on the M8, on the way back from St. Andrew's, with a car full of tired under fives. It was an awful experience. I hope the repair bill is not too expensive, I find local garages often cheaper than Kwik Fit!
Yesterday was exhausting, Babydoll is obviously incubating something. She would not let me out of her sight, even closing the kitchen doors, to stop papa getting him. He is usually her favourite, I am only there to feed, water and change her!
Poor DH was quite upset.
The GP, whom I saw on Monday phoned, but had to call back, because BabyD was distressed. This was so unlike her.
It turned out that GP was asking me to be a guinea pig again for medical students. I asked which condition it was this time, for there are many! 🤣
The GP was amazed that only two days after referring me, I had seen the colorectal consultant. Even more surprised, that I was also having a CT scan.
Later, when I was trying to comfort BabyD, DH handed me the landline. Its about a hospital appointnent, he said. I took the phone, but it was dead,
By any chance were you asked to press 1, if you were me?, I asked.
How would I know, what to do?, was the reply.
It happened again last night, but this time, I managed to answer in time, it was for an urgent phlebotomy appointment, I had a month ago, offering me an appointment at the local health centre!
Just as I was getting into the bath , the kandline rang, The caller said, this is A. My heart sank, DH has an friend, an ex colleague, who phones and is on for hours, I try not to engage with her, especially as she is partial to a small refreshment.
I called DH and said he would be there in a minute. Much to my relief, it was the wrong A! It was the parishioner dealing with curtaingate!!! 🤣
I managed to arrange a joiner yesterday to fix the beam, to support the rail and she was checking all was well.
He was supposed to be fitting it after Brownies last night, but I hadn't the energy after such a full on day.
I shall pop in on my way to Sainsbury's, as the painters are also coming.
I hope OLD has an uneventful journey, Ash, you must be excited to see him.
Thank you all for your prayers, good wishes and PMs, they have heartened me on this difficult journey,
I am amazed at how calm I am. It has been going on for so long, I just want answers.
Have a good day folks, whatever your plans. A special Henton for those with health issues and seeming impossible mountains to climb. 💕
