Mine is the name of a lovely cat I had. I added "girl" so that people were aware of my sex.

Mine is an old nickname which I have often used.

When I was considering joining GN I said to my husband "they'll be domestic goddesses: baking, quilting etc and I'm anything but". He replied "how will they know you're not"? So I gave myself the name of the Roman queen of the gods 😄. I would add I have never claimed to be a domestic goddess.

I had a friend/colleague once called Barbara whom everyone called Babs, she was everything I wanted to be as a young woman, good looking, popular, and with a generous spirit/good heart. And number three is what I consider to be my lucky number.

When my grandchild was small like most children he loved dinosaurs (still does) and he used to like playing at being dinosaurs stomping around the room etc. He decided which dinosaur he wanted to be and I had to join in with him saying to me “you be Grandma dinosaur” and that’s how I decided on my user name.

Go Ask Alice was a book I read as a teenager which had a huge impact on me.
