Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but a dry start to the day here in Brackley this morning.
The usual routine after breakfast , watch a bit of TV,and then go to the bus shelter and get the bus to Bicester.
Hopefully chat and catch up with people I know.
Health is OK,
Take Care,
Mick

Madeleine you sound thoroughly scunnered. Lack of sleep won't be helping. 💐

Thanks, madeleine, I did know about cancers and other conditions, but not about UTIs. It must be an extremely useful tool for nursing home owners to protect their residents from their very damaging effects.

Good morning all from the east coast of Fife. I can hear the seagulls outside my bedroom window, I couldn’t get off to sleep last night because the neighbours were setting off fireworks for ages.
I’m off to the dentist today and I can’t wait as I’ve lost a front tooth and I’ve toothache in my bottom right hand side which really needs to come out yuck. Yesterday the young gardener came he put winter pansies in my pots and along the side of the grass he also put edging along the side of the grass it’s beginning to look okay but not as good as my late husband used to do it but hey ho at least I’ve got someone and he’s real accommodating

Have good day my friends we don’t know what’s around the corner

Good morning all.
Yesterday was busy. Dh had a fall the previous day, with his glasses skidding across the floor and me treading on them.

So up I went to the opticians . They couldn’t be fixed so I ordered him new ones. He’s very unsteady on his feet and can’t really walk , and can’t get to town, so I chose the ones I hope he will like.
Today I’ll ring round for a home visit from a physio. We must get Dh walking again..

In the afternoon I had my check up for the cataract op at the hospital. Two and a half hours of waiting around, but all was well and my pressures are improving.🙏. Dd had stayed with her dad thank goodness.

Today I had intended to go back to bowls but I’ll stay home and do some housework. I can’t keep asking Dd to sit in and I have ‘things’ coming up which are more important.

Thinking of you all with problems of one sort or another. I hope life gets easier for you.♥️

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Gorgeous sunrise 🌅 and the birds are singing loudly.

Fabulous nails Bella . You must be very careful not to damage them. I can't imagine being able to do that.

I spent the afternoon glazing my pottery, power sanding my kiln shelves, packing the kiln and later inviting dozens of people on WhatsApp to the exhibition preview
on Sunday!

Yoga this morning and I have to measure my enormous bookcase which a customer of the auction house is interested in.
Tonight is ceilidh dancing.

Sorry your day was blighted by your health again Marydoll 🙏 😕

So glad you and your DM enjoyed facetime Susan ☺️

How is Mr Dragonfly today?

I hope everyone has the best day possible.

Good morning from a dull but dry day in Suffolk. I’m off to my stretch class in an hours time and then meeting a very close friend for lunch later.

She is scheduled for a hip replacement op in a few day’s time and,as she lives alone and her family live several hours away I’ve offered to go and stay with her for the first few days after she comes home. She is saying that she’ll be ok in the house overnight but I need to reassure her that it’s absolutely fine for me to stay.

She had her first hip op more than 6 years ago and, as we all have, had aged since then. The choice is down to her but I just want to reassure her that my offer still stands and she can change her mind before or after the op.

Hope all have their best day possible.

Good morning everyone from a very grey and damp Northampton, mild but showers forecast.

Managed a visit to town yesterday and got some ear-rings for DGD1's 18th birthday next week; they have little sparkly stars engraved on them, which is very apt, as she is our star! Always go to the same jeweller as they handwrap purchases in gold or silver paper and seal them with hot sealing wax and then press a pretty stamp onto them - no new-fangled sellotape in that shop!

Sainsbury's delivery this morning, then will change the bed and damp-dust all the bedrooms and hopefully get the Shark upstairs.

Finished all the knitting for my stuffed cat yesterday- now I need to wait for the eyes and the stuffing to arrive.

Cast on and did three.rows of ribbing for my new cardigan - I love starting a new project!

Wishing all a pleasant day.

Good morning from a cloudy south coast. We may get some rain later. My new coal effect electric fire arrived yesterday afternoon. It was easy to install but the coals came complete with coal dust!! Thank goodness I opened the bag in the kitchen and not the sitting room. The carpet would have been ruined. I then spent some time with the remote seeking the most natural looking flame effect. I’m happy with the result and it’s silent compared to my old fire which was starting to rattle.
Hair appointment later then my weekly trip to Aldi.
Hope everyone has the best possible day.

Good morning from a mild NE yet again.
Yesterday when I went shopping it was 18° makes a change from the windy weather we have had lately.
Nothing planned for today other than laundry.
Have a good day.

Awaiting the arrival of my lovely hairdresser so a quick good morning and wishes for a good day for everyone. Not raining at present but the forecast is damp, so am glad it was fine yesterday evening for all the local fireworks.

Good morning from a lovely bright and warm East Midlands.

My DH is now able to stand but not tried walking yet. He can be very stubborn and refuses to sit in the chair as he says they just leave him there and it it uncomfortable.
I can sympathise Gingster I too feel I have to get DH walking. I had a word with the physios yesterday but as the nurse said there are other patients on the ward that need attention.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Good morning all. A grey dreich day in Glasgow this morning. Not raining but mild and very damp outside.

I almost reached our health centre yesterday in appointed time for my Covid/Flu jags when I realised my appointment was for Saturday! The day didn’t get much better when I saw evidence of dampness in a corner of the hall ceiling. A local roofer will be here tomorrow to investigate. I can only hope it’s nothing too serious🤞. The usual noise of bombs exploding from two small local parks last night didn’t bother the cat. Guy Fawkes night is now sounding like a war zone. Hairdressers today and that’s as far as I have planned for the day.

Best wishes to all for a good day.

Good morning from Sunnyside sandhills northwest coast.
Glad to hear your DH is able to stand dragonfly and hope he makes good progress.

Severe cramp through the night, up and down using my magnesium spray. The get together after the rehearsal one glass of wine seems to set it off🙄.
Apart from that it was a good day. The performers in the lunchtime concert were excellent, I had some specs repaired, took jumble to the charity shop and didn’t feel too tired for the evening rehearsal. Once again we will be under rehearsed for the next concerts, so need to put some work in at home.
Thoughts to all🌺

Good morning from the west midlands.
It's mild & mizzley here today. Just having a little puruse at GN before clearing -off to the computer. Hurry-up lunchtime, lovely soup & tofu with nice bread today.
Have a good day everyone.😊

Good Morning from Durham, where the mild weather continues. Plenty of jobs to tackle, but after last weekend’s difficulties, I have a distinct lack of motivation. This back problem really isn’t helping things.

Best wishes to all. X
