Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow.
As usual, I'm exhausted after a day with Babydoll, who never stopped, needed a nap, but fought it all afternoon.
Not surprisingly, she fell asleep, just when it was time to go home.
Trying to get her dead weight into her car seat was nigh on impossible.
She had a ball on the way to the Health Centre, kicking leaves and splashing in puddles. It took so long, that I had to go on ahead or I would have been late.
When I left the health Centre, I heard a fishwife like voice, screaming in delight, when she saw me.
Walking along to the pharmacy, she stopped dead, turned and said, Need a cuddle, Ga Ga. A few minutes later, she stopped again, threw her arms around my legs, saying, Need a bigger cuddle, Ga, Ga.
I could feel my eyes welling up, for she is normally not a demonstrative child and it was just what I needed.
When we got to Asda, she refused to go in the trolley, trollies are for babies.
Later in the pharmacy, she asked me to hide her bear, ^ because a baby might see it and want it!^
What on earth goes on in her head?
I had no idea, who had ordered my blood tests, there was no indication on my appointment letter.
I almost cancelled it, because I thought it was the one, I already had at a different venue and kept getting appointments for it.
It turned out, that one of the RA consultants had requested it, because being on biologics requires mandatory blood monitoring.
My inflammatory markers also need checked. It was reassuring, that someone was on the ball.
If only my GP surgery, could learn a lesson from the rheumatology dept.
We have Dollie until Monday, her parents are off to a wedding in England.
She will be ensconced in my conservatory and I will be decanted to the kitchen, where I belong. 😉
Pants, occasionally, I sleep in the spare room, if my coughing is keeping DH awake.
He doesn't like it. Both my heart attacks happened, when I was sleeping alone and DH didn't hear me, due to his snoring.
We sleep together, DH insists. However, he doesn't have to listen to his foghorn snoring.
Today, I need to move all the Christmas presents from the spare room for Dollie's sleepover and more importantly hide Dollie's birthday presents.
Best wishes to all, especially those, who are struggling. Better news yesterday, Dragonfly and hope your boy isn't in too much discomfort, GMB.
