Morning all.
For once I have something to talk about!!
Yesterday it was DD1 ‘s birthday, so today our small family,
Dd1 and ds-out-law, dd2, dsil and our only grandchild, (a delightful 11 going on 21 young lady), are going for Sunday lunch at our local pub/restaurant.
Maryd you are an inspiration. Hope things progress quickly Jax. Wishing all with health and family worries some relief.

FGT May I respectfully ask you to look again at MD's advice regarding italics? You will see, on closer inspection the tiny ^ sign. Just saying.

fgt, ^ before and after words, gives itallics.
I'm not sure what you think my error is. #puzzled of Glasgow.

Well they say everyday is a school day and I’ve learned a lot this morning about text on here. I was also going to ask about the line through the sentence which always makes me smile when I read Marydoll’s posts. Of course I could have googled but why would I when there are such delightful teachers on here. I am fairly new to GN.

Are lessons over for the morning? Always good to learn something new without having to ask a grandchild! Have been to church this morning but am keeping well away from people (no communion or after service coffee) as I am still snivelling and coughing and don’t want to give it to the village as a Christmas gift. Am also cancelling various nice things at least until Thursday though in fact I don’t really have the energy for much. An afternoon with the television beckons ………

Good morning everyone from rainy Lancashire.

Despite the heavy rain MrB and I have been for our usual walk around the dock. Lovely to see all the smiling faces on the Santa train. I can’t resist waving.

Still no prescription, I’m resigned to a delay as it isn’t a common drug so probably wasn’t in stock. I had a better night anyway.

I’m thinking of our poorly grans and those with troubles, as always.

In my world ^ is called a circumflex.
