Good morning from Sunnyside sandhills northwest coast.
DD returned to the south yesterday to get back to her flying rota. It means she is away for her birthday tomorrow, but at least she was here for Xmas, as she had been working some years,
DS is still here and went up into the loft to investigate a damp patch. I have a couple of tiles out of place, so that’s a job for the new year. We had a walk in the sand dunes, sunny but cold and no one about. He’s been suffering with a bad back. In the evening he made me a whopping Xmas sandwich, bursting with turkey etc. which I followed with a binge on a box of Ferraro Rocher…
Good fun watching Who wants to be a Millionaire, although I’m allergic to the host, good as he is at his job. DS clever on the difficult questions, unlike yours truly.
Nice to just potter around today and DS will probably leave me (in peace) with the cat.
