Another photograph yesterday from Meghan to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
It is Harry with his daughter.
After seeing it and others published recently do you other Grans just wish you could get a decent brush and give her hair a really good brush?
Much is made of its glorious colour but oh dear it looks like rats tails to me.

Cossy

For goodness sake, how often her hair is brushed and her name are none of our business.

Don’t you ever tire of Harry/Meghan bashing?

Who cares! They are just humans, like the rest of us, just as flawed, a little entitled but nevertheless I’m sure they love their children dearly.

Crikey, there are other threads about the inappropriateness of St Valentine's day being misused.

It is about romantic love - or sex if you prefer to be blunt.
It is not about filial love, fondness for a teacher, welcoming asylum seekers.

It is inappropriate.

My daughter would never ever let me brush her (fine, curly) hair. I managed to wrestle her into the hairdresser's chair once or twice, I'd swipe a brush at it as she ran out of the door to school...

Aa an adult, her hair is beautiful, a halo.

GrannyGravy13 Sun 15-Feb-26 12:15:46

Hopefully the picture will post.

Cannot see the problem, just a beautiful photo of Dad and Daughter 🤷‍♀️

Btw Valentines is about LOVE!

Love between friends, lovers, family.

My DF sent me a valentines card for many years when I was little, I was an only child and it was an expression of love and he didn’t want me to be left out?

Nothing nasty or suspicious?

MarieElla Sun 15-Feb-26 12:17:10

I'm sure they love their children too and I don't care about their daughter's hair but I think they're a pair of pretentious grifters who would be nothing without the Royal family titles that they insist on using, even to the extent of using Prince and Princess for their children when they will never be working royals or live in the UK....bizarre but great fun to follow as one disaster follows another in their bid to remain relevant!

Cossy Sun 15-Feb-26 12:19:02

It’s so not “inappropriate” it’s simply evolved to represent love of all types.

If you think they are a disaster, you clearly haven’t been following the English branch of the Windsor clan. Are you sitting comfortable ….

Well, each to their own, I certainly prefer them to Andrew and Sarah!

For me, Harry was badly damaged by both his parents divorce and mother’s death, all played out very publicly. He then had a succession of girlfriends who were absolutely stalked by the paparazzi.

Meghan is definitely the stronger of the two and very ambitious, but there’s lots of strong American woman out there. Do I think they are a good match, actually no, but again it’s none of my business.

I think it’s sad, whoever is to blame, that the King doesn’t have a relationship with Harry or the two children and I suspect if William was slightly more forgiving this family may have reunited by now.

I doubt this will ever happen and H&M need to make a massive effort to see King Charles when they can, as once William is King, H&M will be way out of the picture, in my opinion.

I’m not in any way condoning the book or ridiculous interviews, however both Charles and Diana gave disastrous TV interviews, as did Meghan’s father, so no one is totally blameless.

MarieElla Sun 15-Feb-26 12:34:11

I think that's a very good sum up of the situation Cossy.
But H and M really need to listen to advice if they are to be part of the Royal family again...and I think Harry wants this.
Meghan just wants adoration, fame and money....Harry is just thick, resentful and weak.
She thought she was marrying a Prince based on her experience of Disney films....according to herself, she'd never googled Prince Harry....hmmm

Allira Sun 15-Feb-26 12:36:57

Well, classic victim blaming.

Harry betrayed his family yet William gets the blame!
Astonishing.

This thread is about the photo, why has it turned into people analysing history and making up scenarios to suit themselves!

That photo is AI,not real at all.

Oh for goodness sake. Just passing an opinion on a photo isn't a crime. You're being more dramatic about it than the OP.

Don't like it? Scroll past. Just scroll - don't waste your energy criticising others.

That is exactly what Harry and Meghan wanted so could that make them happy at last and help them achieve the quiet life they wanted, away from the glare of publicity?

This oneupmanship Harry and Meghan keep perpetrating is becoming really quite tedious.

Are we really talking bad about a 4 year olds hair? Really?

My hair is the same texture. It never looks like I brush it. I wear it up all the time because it is so fine and flyaway.

Have a good Sunday. I hope everyone finds something, anything else to do.

Glad you can't see mine 😁

But then, I'm not going to have my picture published in international papers. I hope.

Usedtobeblonde Sun 15-Feb-26 12:52:39

Well that’s me told isn’t it.
I will just shut up from now on, but it wasn’t the only photograph of her untidy hair just one of many.
Archie’s hair always looks very well groomed.

Furret Sun 15-Feb-26 13:03:45

Cossy exactly what I thought - the Bash Megan and Harry brigade are still bleating.

imaround Sun 15-Feb-26 13:04:23

Archies hair is short and easy to maintain. hmm

Allira, mine is in braids for sleeping or else I would look a fright when I woke up. That would be hard to get a brush through. smile

Fallingstar Sun 15-Feb-26 13:10:53

I think it’s a lovely photo of father and daughter, but I am saddened that like Brooklyn Beckham, Harry decided to publicly eviscerate his family.
If there were problems they needed to be discussed privately and not made into a regularly aired saga.

JaneJudge Sun 15-Feb-26 13:15:25

As a curly hair owner and of curly haired children, she has had her hair brushed and that's why it looks the way it does

It is a lovely photo of a child with a parent and all this criticism is just mean and I don't even like them or celebrate the royal family. It think it's all a complete waste of money

Well, let's just say, maybe the OP was just an observation.
We can't see Lilli's beautiful brown/blue/green eyes or her pretty rosebud mouth because we only ever get to see the back or side of her head. To be fair, usedtobeblonde did say the colour of her hair was glorious. No need to back away, usedtobeblonde.

JaneJudge Sun 15-Feb-26 13:17:02

Can I remind you all that she is mixed race and it would be really unusual of her the have completely straight hair?

What a mean comment about a beautiful little girl with glorious titian hair. Very below the belt!
