Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but dry start here in Brackley , but with a slight chill with all the Sahara dust making it feel colder than it is .
The usual bus journey into Bicester, meet and chat to those I know .
Health wise OK ,
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from coastal West Sussex. It was very misty first thing but clearing now.

Had DD1 and family for tea and cake yesterday. It is DGS’s 20th birthday this week so we sung happy birthday and he opened his cards and some small presents (we just give him money) before heading back to university. Sadly he has decided to drop out - he was already repeating first year but says he has realised he really doesn’t enjoy his (IT related) course and wants to do something more hands on. It’s very hard to be young these days, I think.

I have loads of leeks to wash and prep for soup and the freezer. We planted quite a lot at the allotment last year and haven’t used as many as usual, partly because more than a tiny portion has such a bad effect on my innards (sorry!).

So many bad nights mentioned - I hope you all sleep soundly tonight.

Md, I saw the news of the Glasgow fire last night. It looks horrific. Thank goodness nobody seems to have been hurt.

Dragonfly, I hope your injuries are minor and you recover speedily.

Best wishes to all.

Good morning everyone from misty Lancashire.

MrB and I have enjoyed a pleasant walk around the Marina. It’s rather grey and muggy but feels a little warmer.

I must chase up my blood results this week, I have a feeling something has been missed.

Hope your DH gets sorted Baubles. MrB had to have stitches in his hand some years ago and it started leaking green goo while we were visiting near Aberdeen. Fortunately Fraserburgh hospital cleaned, redressed and provided antibiotics. We were very grateful.

Fabulous photo BlueSappjire, I love reading about your travels.

Hope it’s only bruises Dragonfly, it sounds dangerous.

I shall have to Google pickleball Melanie, I haven’t heard of before.

As always, thinking of those with troubles in their lives.

Wishing you a good day whatever you’re doing.
