Good morning and Happy Easter from Sunnyside sandhills, northwest coast.
It was a very wild and windy night and I’m glad it has settled down.
Yesterday I took myself off to see the Magic Faraway Tree and it was ok, but too Americanised for me. It led to me looking up Enid Blyton, an interesting character and I remember Helena Bonham Carter playing her in a dramatisation of her life.

It was my BILs 93rd birthday in the south yesterday and I had a chat with my SIL, my BIL having a doze.
Tonight I’ll go to my friend’s open mic evening, although I don’t sing.
I hope you feel better luluaugust and thoughts to all🐣

Good morning from wild and windy.Lancashire. After a very noisy night and despite a sunny start it seems that Storm Dave hasn’t finished with us yet! MrB and I are snuggling down with some lovely Easter treats from Kennedy’s Chocolate Factory. Be careful if you need to be out and about today, we should have been at a family gathering but it’s postponed as my sister is unwell.

Happy Easter 🐣

We have just had a heavy snow shower.
Now the sun is shining.

I am just about to be hedonistic, enjoying cacao and hazelnut spread on a slice of my sourdough plus an enormous mug of tea in a china mug

Ooh, Mothers Pride toast and Nutella, nom, nom! Plus a proper brew.smile

stilllearning, let me know what you think of the book. I enjoy Colm Tóibín’s books.

I read it a few years ago.
A small novella and I found it thought provoking. He writes so well.
