This evening it’s chicken risotto as I needed to use up some leeks and yesterday’s roast chicken.

It’s happily cooking in the Thermomix whilst I waste time on SM!

Risotto is my go to comfort food, I just love it and I always have ingredients to cobble one together.

I spent this morning cooking for visitors on Friday and also made soup for the freezer. That plus other jobs and a bit of shopping tired me out. This evening I used the airfrier to cook Marks and Spencer chips. I made a tasty cheese omelette. M&S frozen peas with it all.
Pudding was a small slice of Co-op Mango cheesecake. It is delicious. I recommend it.

Prego rolls ... tenderise steak (ribeye's good), rib with chili flakes, marinade in lemon juice and more chili flakes. Fry sliced mushrooms in butter, set aside, fry steak in same pan, put aside with the mushrooms. Deglaze pan with more lemon juice to make Prego sauce. Serve doused in the sauce on crunchy bread rolls with chips. YUM!

Sausage, mash & baby Chard (because I've got lots of chard in the garden that needs using & I haven't cooked a sausage supper for 6 months.) They're not cheap any longer, but still easy & tasty.
There are blackfly in the garden so hoping they haven't got all over the chard.
