Good morning from a clear, dry, dawning Bristol. The birds are singing, a robin is especially cheerful!
FAB cafe was quieter than usual with 15 attendees, but it’ll be very, very busy next week. I think a lot of people have gone away. Sadly, one of our regulars died in Friday, he had been very poorly.
Th3 afternoon meeting at our estate was interesting. Fewer than half the residents attended, but those who did were very vocal (including me). The chair spent a lot of time apologising for poor performance, for the lack of communication from their contractors, and the extraordinary length of time taken for repairs - which happened or not.
I understand that, now she (and the management) has realised the depth of irritation of residents, and explained the contracts, things will improve. But… the older complaints will need to be fixed first.
The scaffolding is now starting to go up, perhaps the exterior painting will as well.
Today, I have no t’ai chi, so will spend the morning trying to do my very long Spanish homework, which, curiously is about the Falklands/Malvinas. Curiously, the French call the island “les Malvines too.
Dinner at DD’s, befit which I might go to town for cash and a look round£ for some trousers.
May your day be gentle and your lives smooth.
