Good morning from a currently dull and cloudy Wiltshire. It’s rained every day for 12 days, since the 1st of the month. And it’s been so cold.
A very quiet week with nothing at all to say really. My hip has been causing me a lot of problems. I’ve a clinic appointment regarding it next week. I need a TLHR which I turned down last year as I wasn’t ready, I am really stressing about what will happen. DH is 76 and something is not right with him at all. I’m not sure I can rely on him to help me much.
Thinking of current missing posters, I wondered if anyone has heard from AuntieFlo and TaichiNan.
I’m so sad to read about your DB Gaga. I hope the hospice provides him with peace and he is painfree.
Good news about your ECG Ash.
Your outdoor area looks very nice Bellas. You’ve done very well to make it shady.
Have a good day all.
Good news Ashcombe 👍
Both the boys are in school, phew!
I am trying to work up the energy to go to the earlier (more difficult) gym class, if not I will go to my regular one. I made the 11yr old laugh when I told him we played dodge ball at the end…
Good morning everyone from a cloudy Northampton, fingers crossed it stays dry as I plan on hopping on the bus to the shops this morning.
Went with neighbour and friend as moral support yesterday to the talk on caring/living with someone with dementia; quite a few useful tips. Also I was curious to see inside the retirement village, where the talk was held. It is enormous, has every facility and residents have little need to ever venture outside. There is a gym, shops, hairdresser, sports facilities, restaurant and bar. It seems to be very popular; the headmistress of a school I taught in now lives there.
Thanks for the heads up about the Sainsbury's Tu sale Marydoll - I shall definitely pop in later.
A big rugby match tonight for my team; a semi-final against our greatest rivals Leicester Tigers. Sadly I can't be there, but will cheer them on as I watch it on tv from my chair. Come on you Saints!💚💛💚
Have a lovely big birthday Liberty! 🎂🍴💐
Happy birthday Liberty
Happy 80th birthday Liberty🥳. I hope you enjoy celebrating.
So sad for you Gagagran, your poor brother.😢
Great news about your results Ashcombe, and yours too Susan56🤗
Grandmabatty how special to have a line of littlies wanting a cuddle! So sweet.
Sorry your hip is causing you misery glammagran and sorry you are worried about DH being able to help out. Thank you re my yard. I need the shade also to have a bit of privacy from the upstairs flats, not that anyone sits out on their balconies as it’s too hot!😂
It’s windier than I thought but a cool breeze is always welcome. Hair colour at 11.30 so I’m glad about that. The white is showing through too quickly these days!
Take care all. ☀️
Hi glammagran, thanks for enquiring about Auntiflo. Unfortunately she died about fifteen months ago but was a regular contributor until almost the end. She is sadly missed.
Good morning my friends it’s a very bright sunny day here on the east coast of Fife I’m feeling very warm I’m still in bed waiting for my carer to come and help me up. I’m hoping for lots of hugs tomorrow my family are coming to visit. Today I’ll have bacon and egg on a roll , with fresh orange juice
Have a good day keep safe 💐💐
Happy 80th Birthday, Liberty. Have a wonderful day🎂🥂!
Good morning everyone from south Manchester. I’m late on parade this morning. It’s wet and looks pretty overcast out. My friend who had to cancel coffee yesterday is meeting me in an hour. I suggested coming up to me rahther than Starbucks for a change but have warned her it’ll be Nescafé only! I’m looking forward to seeing her. Hardly anyone has been in the apartment in the past 3 years as often Himself was too poorly to contemplate friends calling in.
This afternoon I have session 7 of 10 of my bereavement counselling. I’m finding it helpful. I can share things with Ian rather than upsetting my girls with some of the more distressing details that I wish to unpack.
Tonight is a football presentation evening for our Boy Wonder’s second team (he plays for two). I’m meeting the family in the pub over the road at 6pm for one then we will stroll further along to the venue.
Now to read all your posts and hoping for some better news on several fronts. x
Have a lovely birthday Liberty. Enjoy your lunch today 🎉💐
Cold and damp this morning but as I have a social day I don’t mind - oldies’ coffee morning and bridge this afternoon. Whatever happened to summer?
Good morning from a bright Berkshire.
My DD drove us here from Cornwall yesterday and after a week of activities every day, I’m feeling tired. but make my way home to the north later this morning,
My sister has returned to London and DD gets back to flying tomorrow. I’ll need a rest, but we’ve had a marvellous time. My DD is a very good organiser.
Thoughts to Gagagran and her brother and congratulations Liberty

A very happy birthday, Liberty 🥂🎂
Thoughts with those with health or family worries. Some better news for some of you, most heartening.
The sun is shining at the moment, but rain is forecast for lunchtime, just as my friend and I set off for lunch at our favourite pub. It won’t put us off.
Sorry to hear about your brother Gagagran 💐
Constant rain here in North Chadderton, Oldham.
Happy Birthday liberty 🥂🎂
gagagran so sorry to hear about your big brother. I hope he’s comfortable and not in any pain.
Good news Ash.
marydoll I hope the dreaded junction isn’t too difficult this morning and that your DH’s blood tests don’t show anything nasty.
