Why don’t men shave any more?

It must be the hot weather, combined with beard talk.
I shall have to go and lie on me couch with a flannel on me head soon!

Never likedbeards or anything. Always think it looks like things could be growing and living in them! 🤣. Each to their own....

It occurs me, that the title of this thread is 'Why don't men shave anymore?' must surely bring the counter uestion, why do men shave anyway? Surely that is far more unnatural than letting their facial hair just grow, which is a normal and natural attribute of men and a sign that they are out of childhood and into maturity.

People get all worked up about women removing normal bodily hair. Why should it be different for men?

I also like full beards , but they must be well maintained, not those unkempt beards, with bits of food stuck to them. YUKK !!!

My boss at volunteer job is a devastatingly tall dark handsome and charming Highlander of the black hair and heavy stubble kind. At nearly 80 I treasure the fact my knees can still go weak every time he gives me that delicious grin.

I like to think that he sees right through my present disguise as a fat 80 yr old with white hair and as our eyes meet we're both thinking the same thing. " Phwoar, hellO".

Of course we'll never do anything about it because we're both happily married and there's that 40 yr age gap.
