Commercial advent calendars are getting more adventurous by the year. I used to make my own for the children, e.g. by getting a Lego kit and adding a brick or two per day. They now do those ready made - including kits for grown ups. I have bought and given to family members tea calendars, detective stories, recipes children's stories. Nothing too expensive. (I don't even know anyone who would appreciate 24 perfumes or beauty products.)
But yesterday I saw one that really takes the biscuit, albeit quite a good idea. A sock calendar!
What weird ideas have you seen, or do you prefer to make your own, or don't like them at all. (I suppose I ought to add that here in Germany they have always been a thing and are not considered new-fangled. However the Germans are very conservative and probably way behind the rest of the world with whacky ideas, sticking to the customary chocolate, or even the simple windows that open to show a picture)
Labour Brings in excellent Renter's Rights - long overdue.
Recalled for a further appointment after a routine mammogram
