What was your favourite present?

What’s the worst present you’ve been given?
Mine- set of Pyrex dishes or
- the homemade pie which my neighbour made- he coughed over it then his dog licked it!
Friend- a roll of bright pink crimplene from her mil

My favorite gift is my Bad Bunny Hoodies, which gives me my love (wife). I love it a lot and it's close to my heart.

I have some of those in my sewing kit lizzy, they’re great.

my husband bought me a poncho

My son gave me 100 wonderclips. Brilliant! They are great for craft and sewing projects and you can never have too many. I will post a photo but my ancient Kindle can't manage a message and photo at the same time.

Annie I’m so sorry your grandchildren couldn’t go to see you because of the virus. What a lot it has to answer for. I’ll give you flowers instead

Only received one , my grandchildren couldn’t come to see me, the youngest tested positive on Christmas Eve

The card had a lovely green coloured Christmas tree, that wasn't quite finished
( Dgs said he ran out of time in the lesson)

My Dgs is autistic and has learning difficulties.
I am so proud that he chose me, it still brings a tear to my eye ?

I got a card made by my grandson. It was a lovely gift I got.

The contents look good as well, but this bottle bag, decorated by my five year old granddaughter, has to be my favourite present ?

Here is mine from my son, the bottle contains gin liquor, he knows my tastes well!

I had 3 wonderful gifts this year:

(1) A bottle of Channel 5 from DH. He buys me some every Christmas, but it was extra special this year after the fear at the start of the year that he might not be with me this Christmas. His future is looking much brighter now.

(2) Having one of our sons and his family to stay with us for Christmas, and meeting our latest GC.

(3) Our eldest Step-GS hugged me and called me Nanny, something he's never done before. It was a lovely moment.

I had some lovely material gifts as well, a beautiful photo frame, a pendant and my favourite chocolates. It was a lovely Christmas.

Nothing much but meant a lot to be sat at home with oh after my discharge and getting video calls from our grandchildren .Congratulations 62granny

My daughter has a Cornish dinner service that she bought whilst she was on a few holidays in Cornwall, but I don’t think it’s Rick Stein, and of course it’s all packed away in storage at the moment, but one Christmas we all took a house rental in Padstow and I remember going to the Rick Stein fish and chip restaurant for lunch on Christmas Eve. Naughty, but nice! Enjoy your lovely pottery Josieann.

We've had two holidays in Cornwall this year and each time my family must have seen me go wild for the Rick Stein tableware in his shop in Padstow. I was delighted to receive a set of bowls and mugs reminding me of our stay. My birthday is soon, so hopefully some plates will turn up next!

I specifically asked for NO presents- I truly do not need anything, and last thing I need is more things. So being welcomed so warmly, and being looked after and having amazing meals cooked for me with care- was just perfect.

Second instalment coming in a few days- spending time chatting with grandchildren, walks and family games - and again, being very well fed with great food and wine- that is all I want.

My very best present was to be taken out to lunch by my senior granddaughter. When she was a student I used to take her to lunch about once a month and it was lovely to be able to sit and talk to her over some excellent food.

My fav xmas gift was one 8 bought myself . Waxing Kit ...goodbye random menapausal mistache hair

Seeing my children and grandchildren home for Christmas and helping me decorate Christmas tree and make dinner.
