We have two trees - both traditional. One real, one artificial.

A real tree with a mix of decorations, a lot of them with family connections, no colour theme.

Me too!
I love my (real) tree and the old (and newer) baubles and trimmings.

My fairy is a mouse. Hand made and missing her tail now.

After years of renting a tree, we have succumbed to a prelit, artificial for the lounge. It's decoration depends on whether I can stop who ever is here from throwing everything at it! It is supposed to be tasteful!

We have a white branch in the hall with glass and pink and purple baubles. We also have one on the 'glass corridor' which is probably visible from space.

Quite right, too , Cabbie!
I enjoy the tasteful coordinated trees in hotels, but like the happy chaos of collected- over- years stuff on my tree.
A friend is planning to buy all new baubles this year to match her newly decorated sitting room. This astonishes me.

I have a traditional real tree, I use red, silver, and white plus plain glass ornaments to decorate. I love my tree.

Fake tree here, green, with various decorations of all colours acquired over the years. In my local garden centre fake trees are mostly white or silver.
I have recently redecorated, which included moving a shelf. I had to get the tree down to measure its height. The shelf did not go back up as it would have been in the way of the tree. Priorities.

I’ve had the same large green fake fir tree for the past 25 years. Probably more sustainable than a real tree.

A real tree with ornaments amassed over the years.
Never a false tree.

I live alone so don't bother much at Christmas. One year I knitted a tree complete with decorations so I still add some lights and stand that on a shelf in a corner.

We have baubles collected over 38 years .....one when each of AC were born and GC born....baubles from loads of countries we've visited....certainly not colour co ordinated.....but a lovely trip down memory lane every time we dress the tree ....we have coloured lights ... no tinsel on tree

Should read is decorated with silver, the tree is definitely green πŸŽ„πŸ€£

We have a real tree in the sitting room this is either decorated all red, all gold or a mixture of both depending on how I feel. We have green imitation spruce in the dining room, which is silver and Swarovski snowflakes which have been collected over many years.

The play room will have an imitation tree, not sure of the theme yet.

As you can probably tell I absolutely love Christmas πŸŽ„

I don’t do Christmas trees, but if I did it would be a traditional green one with red and gold decs.

Do you remember when xmas trees had red bows? Then it was white xmas trees. In 1960s my mother had a tiny silver tree. In shops and garden centres at present the style seems to be mostly pink. A few years ago there were black trees. Then there is fibre optic ones. Which type of tree do you prefer? Do you stick to traditional green and red or do you like your tree to be stylish with all decorations co-ordinated?
