I’m sure there are some beautiful trees out there, trees which tell a story with decorations gathered over the years, elegant trees, big tree, little trees, real trees, artificial trees- well I thought it might be nice to put them all together on one thread!
Here’s my tiny tree - a far cry from the 6 footers we used to have when the children lived at home.
But also safely out of reach of dogs- I have an abiding memory of Jock, my first (and only boy) greyhound who took one glance at our floor standing (big) tree, and clearly thoughtā€ Oh good, indoor plumbingā€ 😱😱😱
So bring out your trees tchsmile

Here is mine. There’s also a photo of a new angel I bought this year - we’ve called her Gigantua. We decided she’s too big to go on the tree so last years is being used. Before that we had an angel for decades which younger son now has in London.

Happy Christmas all- here’s ours the 1st one taken this year about 3pm just after finishing decorating it.
2nd photo was same tree but last years effort. I’ve included it as it shows the lights off better I think because its taken later on in the evening.

Here's my Birch Trees which is in the kitchen. I think this is its 3rd year, I'm not altogether happy with it, given it's developed a Leaning Tower of Pisa attitudesad I've spoken to it with a "you'd better shape up or you'll be repaced with an evergreen next year" warning. Not a blind bit of notice goes it's own wayhmm

We have the same uplighter Clarehhh and I looked across at it and added the extra height for your tree. Blimey! Magical I’ll bet.

In fact so many gorgeous trees.
I’ve really enjoyed seeing them all. As the rain hammers down here, outside on the windows. Brr!

At last, I can show you mine, ably decorated in my absence.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this thread, I was unable to comment before as my old account 'Rocketstop' went pear shaped and I've had to get a new account.
It's good to be back ! I wanted to tell you all how lovely your trees are looking, so many different shapes and styles.

Well here I am Tail end Charlie, I’d never be first in class on this one as I don’t even think about Christmas until after my birthday on the 5th!

This is a new tree which moves around PG Towers as the mood takes me and my Batman feels like itā€¦šŸ¤¬. Unfortunately my glass baubles, wot I made, are slightly too heavy for the branches which have had to be twined up to a nail behind the picture - what a ffaff šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

I’ve been promised a simple, but more substantial, driftwood effort for next year which will be a joy to us both 🄰

Pantglass you are not late to the party until Christmas Day, surely?

My tree is coming in today.
I think it's good to bring it in late as it lasts through to 12th night better.

Thought I should add mine...

Merry Christmas everyone.
