The funniest baking pun I ever heard was one from the Fanny and Johnny Craddock show many years ago. Fanny had made ring doughnuts and she was winding up the programme with 'goodbye, see you next time' and the long suffering Johnny added 'and I hope all your doughnuts turn out like Fanny's.
