Warm long days - fine if you can reax in it but not so good having to work!

My favourite thing about summer is the long summer nights. My least favourite thing is constantly having to mow the lawn

favourite thing is having impromptu picnic by the river close to our home, and least favourite is having midgies and horseflies joining us!

Best things is lovely walks in the sunshine, worst is being hot and not being able to get cool

Best thing about summer is watching all my hand grown veggies grow whilst sat in the garden reading my fav book at the time.
Worst thing about summer is that it ends!!!

My favourite are the warm light evenings so I can sit outside

Least favourite the midges.

I love eating out in the garden especially when all the family are around. I hate it that it’s hot and then so crowded when you go into town.

Lovely long summer evenings when it is still light - to sit in the garden or go for a walk (covered in anti-mozzie spray, of course!) is my favourite summer activity.

Hayfever and mozzie/midges tie for the worst summery point. Unless afflicted, you'll have no idea how miserable these can make one be!

Favourite: Having meals outside in the sun
Least favourite: when it gets too hot

My favourite part of summer is long lazy days in the garden enjoying the sunshine, i'm not so keen on the hayfever!!!

Favourite thing is being able to go out without wearing a coat.

My favourite thing about summer are the long days and warm weather, my least favourite is wasps and flies.

I love my garden and watching the roses and flowers develop during sunny days.
I hate getting bitten by mosquitoes, every insect in the area thinks I taste lovely!

Favourite - wearing different cotton Summer dresses and being complimented by my lovely granddaughters, saying ‘you look beautiful Nanna’. Despite my floppy upper arms and pudgey knees!

Least favourite - having to shake off all the bugs on my line dried laundry after warm days.

Favourite thing is sitting in the garden with a good book and a chilled drink.
Least favourite is being too large to wear a bikini these days.

I love being able to go out for long days and not having to rush home because it's getting dark.

My favourite thing about summer is having the back door open all day (with chain fly screen) and well into the long light evening. Living in the country side is wonderful this time of year. We have swallows zooming down and drinking from the pond, and bats at night.

The cats love wandering in and out, we can hear the birds (we have rare turtle doves) and I am always popping outside to sit and have a coffee and just enjoy it.

The worst thing is horse flies. They land sneakily and bite hard. I then have a huge painful lump come up, I have to resist scratching it.

favourite is having lots of fresh fruit, less favourite is how fast the weeds grow.

I love the light evenings and warmth. I don't think I dislike anything except bugs coming in the house.

I love being able to enjoy the outdoors, but I hate the amount of insects the hot weather brings!
