I have an allotment and I find working on it to be totally relaxing and stress free. When the weather is bad I dress appropriately and go for a bird watching walk. If it is really bad I curl up with a good book.

A glass of wine and a ‘feel good’ film.

A long walk where I simply meditate and appreciate everything around me.

Walking down to the beach and picking up all the marvelous treasures the sea has brought in. I have a nice relaxing walk in the sunshine and come back with a little bag of treasures. I then sit down with a coffee and sort through my bag, what bliss.

A new magazine and a cup of tea. The perfect way for me to relax after a shower with Sanctuary.

I unwind by long soak in the bath, Epsom salts as I'm infected with Lyme Disease, whilst listening to the radio. The chitchat helps me unwind and relax and forget my problems.

Definitely good book(s) for me and during this gorgeous summer have relaxed with a cup of tea, the book(s) and sitting on our patio admiring our garden and listening to the birds.

I enjoy relaxing with a good film and my knitting

I go for a walk, earphones in, cares drift away, and I feel relaxed, and sleep well for the music and exercise I get.

A couple of shots ofGlayva, while surfing the internet.

I go for a walk - the physical activity seems to occupy that bit of my brain that needs to do something but the steady rhythm is strangely relaxing. It's always preferable walking in a natural environment but even local streets can do the trick.

A hot chocolate, cosy socks, and a good book does it for me.

I used to relax in a bath with a book but my new landlord removed the bth and put in a shower in the two days between my 2nd viewing and my moving in so now I read (not in the bath!) or watch old episodes of strictly while catching up on my knitting

prid1 Tue 25-Sept-18 16:00:15

Glass of wine and a nice hot soak in bubble bath

I usually read a magazine or watch some trashy tv programme

netty2509 Tue 25-Sept-18 16:25:23

Strange one for a 67 year old ... I go rock climbing. Focuses the mind away from the stresses & strains of having a 7 year old granddaughter in residence. Then I return, exhausted for a hot bath & good night's sleep.

Bubble bath, candles and wine
