To relax my favourite things to do are run a hot bath with lots of bubbles , read a great book , go on a long walk, light a couple of candles , use my crystals to help clear my mind . I love to have a play with my two cats or just watch a tv show or listen to music

I love to relax with a glass of wine and a good book, probably on the sofa but often in the bath, the trouble is if you drop the book in the water it gets wet!

I love sewing and listening to a good play on Radio 4, along with a flask of tea nearby so I don;t have to get up and drop my pins etc!

Wine and telly, or coffee and a book, or any of the before in a bath!

SLGrosvenor Tue 25-Sept-18 19:12:41

Pilates.

If I can, I spend a day at my favourite spa, if not a good book and a glass of wine usually helps!

Yorkshiregirl Tue 25-Sept-18 19:46:56

Hmm now that would be telling ?

Isobelw Tue 25-Sept-18 19:58:30

A long hot uninterrupted bath.

I have an exceptionally large Scotch and a few cubes of very rich chocolate. It is surprising how the two go together.

Brownow Tue 25-Sept-18 22:11:54

Curl up with a good book - even if it’s an electronic one

whobeme Tue 25-Sept-18 22:49:18

Curl up in a comfy chair with a good book, a cup of hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and Leonard Cohen playing in the background.

sadiewoohoo Tue 25-Sept-18 23:09:33

DanniRae Tue 25-Sept-18 23:20:56

Gardening for me, I especially find planting seeds and 'pottering' the most relaxing!

A smellie bubble bath, with a few candles burning, perhaps a glass of wine.
Once dry , a bed with clean sheets, lie and listen to music as I drift off to sleep.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

A nice long hot bath

stoolballgirl Wed 26-Sept-18 09:50:51

In summer I relax and read in the garden, in the winter a long soak in the bath with a glass of wine!

sexyashel Wed 26-Sept-18 11:20:19

spa competitions , a glass of wine

mazgoli Wed 26-Sept-18 11:51:24

If my arthritis is really bad, I sit watching TV or reading with my legs elevated and frozen peas on my knees! If I'm a bit more comfortable, relaxing in the garden with a good book and a cup of coffee.

tupelohoney Wed 26-Sept-18 12:25:13

A warm bath, good book, soothing music and loads of "smellies"!

Barnacle99 Wed 26-Sept-18 13:07:20

My daughter gives my feet a lovely massage with some moisturiser

GrandmaPip Wed 26-Sept-18 14:10:19

I have a nice cup of coffee made with hot milk instead of water, put my feet up on the bed and watch my favourite TV soap.

Wazza Wed 26-Sept-18 14:27:15

I enjoy entering competitions, watching my favourite programmes and going fishing with my husband. Sitting by a lake in the sunshine, hearing the click of a reel, birds chirping and watching the carp basking on top of the water is so relaxing.

Dollyfair Wed 26-Sept-18 14:40:24

I usually make a nice cup of tea, have a supply of good biscuits and watch some "rubbish" tv. Turn the phone off and sit back - relax
