Gardening! Like the time on my own being out in the fresh air. Look forward to a well deserved hot bath and glass of wine when I've finished.

I am an avid comper. And that is how I relax and unwind

I read; or, do what I'm doing now - listening to a CD called Buddha Chillout, & having a glass of sherry.

I love going for a long walk in either the woods or along the coast or river and try to do this every day. It blows away the cobwebs and makes you feel calmer and then home for tea and a relaxing soak in the bath.

I have a hot bath, get into my jim jams and make myself a hot chocolate topped with marshmallows

Candles lit, good movie on TV, feet up, knitting, cup of coffee and dog curled up beside me. Bliss.

Gardening or reading

Stretch out on the couch (but if it's warm will be outside) with a good book and something to drink. Usually end up having a nap!

Listen to music

I always find that a walk helps me unwind. I love to walk in the park or along the coastal path near my home.

I love to lie in a warm bath surrounded by scented candles. Close my eyes and listen to relaxing music.

I lie in bed and read my Kindle or I play endless games of Klondike on my ipad.

Read a good book with coffee and biscuits

I sit down with a big mug of tea, open my laptop and visit all of my favourite websites!

Either I run a bath and take a book and little picnic and 'something' to drink ;-) or snuggle up with a cosy blanket on the sofa with a new box set plus the little picnic & 'drink' :-)

I turn off my phone, stretch myself out on the sofa and listen to a mindfulness CD whilst breathing slowly in and out with my eyes closed. Even a ten minute session make all the stresses recede and give me a sense of well being.

Relaxing - mmm - not sure on that one - these days the more I try the harder it gets - there you are trying to unwind and forcing your mind to go blank and before you know it up pops a reminder that the washing needs to come out of the tumble dryer, the spuds are boiling over and the grass needs the mower running over it!
