I go to my local swimming baths and alternate between the pool, steam room and sauna. I do ten lengths in the pool then go and sit in the steam room for ten minutes, then sauna for ten, then back to pool for another few lengths. When I come out I’m totally chilled. Great.

I always enjoy relaxing in a lovely warm bath filled with jasmine scented oil. I switch off the lights, add a couple of candles, and I usually fall asleep lol.

My favourite way to unwind is to read. Even if it's just a few pages, the act of holding a book soothes me and the story takes me away from real life for a while.

Relaxation to me means a leisurely walk through my gorgeous local park complete with its mighty river, looking and listening out for birds and other wildlife, in all the glorious seasons but especially spring and summer, my top faves.

Spending a couple of hours in the garden listening to the birds, smelling the flowers and feeling the sun on my face. However if it is raining, pitting up in the green house, smelling the soil and felling cosy never fails to cheer me up and relax me.
