Line dancing on a Monday morning and chatting to my line dancing friend makes me young again each week.

Music! I am always transported elsewhere when I catch the notes or lyrics of a song from yesteryear. Whether it's the disco beats of the seventies, where I relive some mad escapade of my youth, the rhythms from a brass band (I am back with my dad, who loved them) or the croons of Frank Sinatra (my mother, Frank and I used to sing and cook together).

Being out with my 8-year old grandson who talks to me about all sorts of things - music, computer games, football - thinking that I understand everything.

Like a lot of respondents it's our grandchildren but they are also quite tiring to be around so relatively small doses with spaces in between suits best!

BEING IN WARMER CLIMATES WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY HAVING A GOOD TIME

Spending time with the grandchildren is a great way to feel young again. Lots of laughter, reading stories and taking them to the park. Telling stories of your own childhood makes their eyes light up! Walks help too - when you can pick up with nature, explain things and get them to notice and ask questions.

Waking up to find that it has snowed overnight. Nothing beats making footprints in newly-fallen snow!

When I’m out with my grandchildren and someone mistakes me for their Mum ! Going to one event, one grandson pointed out that as I’m an OAP I can get in cheaper ... the man selling the tickets said “ well whatever you’re on, can I have some “ .... I practically skipped across the field ?‍♀️?

Whenever I get called a girl by an older person makes me feel young.

Rejuvenation just to know my lovely Mr. L ( we only married 5 years ago) is recovering from a serious illness and is being taken care of by the NHS better than I could have hoped for. Just roll back the years please a little more!

Volunteering at a local dog shelter and fostering dogs who have been abused or mistreated.

Skipping down the street when no-one is looking !!
