After being widowed at the age of 71 I joined the Rock Choir. Although it is a business It is an amazing organisation and I have made so many friends who all love to sing and dance. Age is no barrier and it makes me feel uplifted and joyous whenever I go. I feel young again.
Just being able to have a really good laugh about something or seeing the funny side of perhaps a serious subject or maybe just putting a different meaning on things can all make me feel childish and carefree again
Don’t have much interest in clothes ( I have strong hermit like tendencies ) but wearing my new Levi denim trucker jacket. Should’ve bought one 3 decades ago! ?
Re-discovering the joy of hobbies I neglected since my youth … I am sketching, doodling and painting again with even more pleasure and it makes me feel like I did back then … energised and happy
