The Three Little Pigs....the big bad wolf was a bit scary but it was great when he got his comeuppance and landed in the cooking pot!

Has to be Hansel and Gretel. I loved the story being told at primary school. Then in high school I learnt the songs from the opera - having seen several productions, I still think it is the best fairy tale ever!

I don't remember any from childhood,I read voraciously, 3 books a night even as young as 6/7. However I remember when my own daughter was young how much we enjoyed the films "Land before Time" and the circle of life they talked about

I loved rapunzel just because i thought it was amazing that her hair was so long and that someone could climb up it!

For me it has to be "The Snow Queen", by Hans Christian Andersen, I had it in a big book with all his other tales and I don't know how many times my Mum read it to me, but each time I saw the illustrations, I always manages to spot something else, it was magical.

Rumpelstiltskin. It was quite a scary story, but I think I just liked saying the name.

I loved The Town mouse and the Country mouse by Enid Blyton, the illustrations captured my imagination and dreamt of mice living in clothes in little houses
