I would take them on a boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads. We spent many happy holidays as a family there and I would liv3 the grandchildren to experience this great area.
I would bring my 8 year old boy to Japan. It has everything my little boy could want- ninjas, Pokemon, noodles, castles, bullet trains, sushi, sumo wrestlers, manga cartoons, origami, samurai, and vending machines full of strange beverages. He would absolutely love it.
I would take my grandson to the West of Ireland, I want him to see the mountains, forests run around the beaches, show him his father's ancestry & where his dad was born. There was an innocence and freedom that isn't available here any more for children and would like him to experience it.
For me it would be magical Zanzibar! A truly Arabesque spice island with the lingering hint of cloves in the air and azure seas lapping long and wide sparkling white sandy coconut palm surrounded beaches...…… magical!
I would love to take them to Iceland so they could see snow, reindeer and visit Santa’s elves. I would love it just to see their faces full of surprise and awe.
I would take my granddaughter to London to see Father Christmas, and then take her to all the best toy shops and let her take her pick of the toys. All by 1st class rail travel of course.
Australia, a land of so many different habitats and scenery and a fabulous coastline. The wildlife is so diverse and it would be an incredible learning experience for them.
Bamburgh castle, Northumberland. Fantastic setting with a wonderful stretch of sand. They could let their imagination run riot & pretend they were in a film set.
we would go to north berwick for the summer holidays.i spent all my time there in the holidays when i was growing up.plenty of lovely beaches to explore and then day trips to edinburgh when it rains
I would take my grandchildren to visit the Artic and Antarctic to see the magnificent ice caps and ice bergs before they all melt away due to the devastating impact of Global Warming.
I don't really know where I would take them, but to have them all together in one place would be a treat in itself, as they live in different parts of the country.
