I would love to take them back in time to when I was young; to simpler way of life ; and how we had fun making up games from nothing , instead of spending a lot of money so they could learn good skills and appreciate things more .

The scenery is stunning and there are so many outdoor activities to take part in. I would love to instill the same love of adventure and nature in my granddaughters, that my Nan instilled in me

I'd take them to Cornwall, to the seaside, together, for a week with us, their grandma and grandpa. They don't see each other much and they adore each other - GD is 6, GS is 3. I'd love playing with them building sandcastles, exploring rocks and rockpools, splashing about in the sea, chasing waves, racing on the sand, collecting shells and pebbles. We'd buy ice creams and eat fish and chips on the beach. We'd get sand in our socks and salt in our hair. We'd just have fun, and enjoy precious time together, just being children and being loved, safe and free.

NEW ORLEANS - I'd take them to experience the wonderful musical lifestyle and heritage of New Orleans and the Mardi Gras. Hopefully I'd sneak them in to look at the legendary Carousel Bar in the Hotel Monteleone too.
