If you could take your grandchildren anywhere in the world, where would it be . . . . to the moon, the sea of Tranquility to be precise, for a bit of peace lol

I would take them around my favourite parts of this country, The Yorkshire Dales, The Lake District, The Peak District, The Yorkshire Moors etc, there are plenty of beautiful places in our country, people are too quick to go abroad these days.

I think a trip to Lapland for Christmas would be something really unique and something the grandkids would love.

I would take her wherever her imagination would wander.

I would take them to Clayton Bay in Yorkshire, I regularly took my children there when they were young and we had some wonderful times. We are now spread around the world so don’t get to see each other often and very rarely see all my grandchildren together.

It would have to be the classic Disneyland in Florida. I would love to see their faces in the ultimate land of make believe

I would love to take my grand children to see their great grand mother Singapore. They will have a chance to see the beautiful scenery and enjoy the delicious food and be pampered by their great aunt and uncles.

I would take then to a little village in Southern Italy called Atina where they could see where my grandmother and her grandmother and way back further used to live. It is beautiful with great weather and holds a little piece of my heart ?

I would take them to New England to show them that there’s much more to America than what you see on the news.

Obviously I’d rent a cottage in the Isle of Man and take my two lovely grandsons there. Why, because in the words of Sir Paul Mc Cartney I’ve got older, not quite loosing my hair but soon to be 64.

I would like to take my grandchildren all around Scotland, there is so much to see and do, plus a lot that they could learn too. The highlands are breathtaking as well as the islands, the Orkney islands have a lot of interesting sites and the Hebrides have beautiful beaches. Wildlife in Scotland is awesome too.

nanjen Fri 25-Oct-19 15:58:32

I would take them to Australia to meet up with my best friend from 30 years ago, and give the grandchildren to learn about life in a different country and those from a different cultural and religious background

both my grandsons are autistic, so they face a number of difficulties. I would love to try them at an activity centre in Wales or Yorkshire.
They need quiet and time to join in, with no pre judgements.
I would love to see them FREE.

Danishish11 Fri 25-Oct-19 19:51:59

I would most definitely take them to Denmark, to a tiny little island called “Lilleø”..... that’s where I was born....way away from almost everything....very idyllic though

There is a whole world i would love to show my grandchildren, and they would love to go to a Chocolate factory so they say, but i would love to take them on a Steam Train around the country stopping at the many wonderful citys and shores and have great wonderful adventure.

kevincharley Fri 25-Oct-19 20:58:05

Scotland, for the most fabulous beaches in the world.

Liljan Fri 25-Oct-19 22:44:47

I’d take my 3 gorgeous grandchildren back in time to meet their great grandparents and great great grandparents, they would experience the same wonderful time I spent with them in the highlands of Scotland. I would be able to show them the beautiful places I played around their homes and then come evening we’d sit down to the fabulous home cooked meals my grandmothers made, and then the games around the table before heading up the giant stairs to bed...I can still smell the fresh sheets as I jumped in. Just one visit back to the past with my grandchildren in tow would be my dream adventure for them.
