A cruise would be lovely with all the family. I’ve been on 2 but would have enjoyed it more with everyone there.

I would take the little ones to a wonderful British beach where they could play all day. It would have caves, sand, large pebbles, shells.etc. The weather would be good and the sea safe....bliss.

I would take the older ones back to Jamaica to see where their father was born and walk up Dunns River Falls. ( may send them up and just watch now )

I would love to take my 3 year old grand daughter to Fuerteventura. It's short haul and has lovely sandy beaches and is safe. There is also a fantastic animal park called Oasis where you can feed giraffes and zebras, ride camels and see birds of prey and a fantastic cactus garden.

I would take them into my kitchen and we would all sit around my big little used family dining table and chat and get to know each other. I've never got to do this sadly.

I would take my gran children to London Town, the Southbank, The Tate Modern to the wonderful museums, then a spot of lunch at The Oxo Tower.

I would do a tour round the UK visiting all the fabulous countryside and seaside I saw as a child eg Cornwall and Devon and the fabulous beaches, forest of bowland, Scottish highlands and lochs, beautiful lakes and hills in the lake district, historic towns and cities like York, Canterbury, Oxford and Norwich, the hills and valleys and beaches in Pembrokeshire, and the beautiful countryside in between so that they get to appreciate and love the place they were born in.

I would take them to Disneyworld Florida. This would be a such a magical and enchanted experience for them. It would be amazing to meet Disney stories characters. This trip would stay in children memories forever and lovely photos would stay as the proof.

My grandchildren are all very young and still believe in father Christmas, the tooth fairy and magic but the eldest is now 6 and I know he will stop believing soon so I would like to take them somewhere magical, perhaps to lapland to meet Father Christmas.

annemac101 Tue 08-Oct-19 16:43:14

It would have to be Disneyland as they're all under eight and live Disney so much. I would also give anything to see their little faces light up.

abzmra Tue 08-Oct-19 17:05:54

I would take them camping and show them the kind of holidays that their Mum's used to go on. We used to travel around and often would sit there the night before, with a map and decide where to go the next morning. We could see and visit many different things on our travels and forget about the real world for a time.

Disneyland

Ikea1234 Tue 08-Oct-19 18:05:02

So many places! I'm always telling my grandchildren it's a big old world out there and you must see it! Perhaps a road trip across America to see iconic sights like the Grand Canyon and Statue of Liberty? Maybe Kenya for a safari to see endangered species? Perhaps the Great Barrier Reef in Australia? Decisions, decisions!!

madnanna Tue 08-Oct-19 19:37:51
