"Aliens love Underpants" has always been a favourite with my grandsons. It has made all 3 of them giggle so much that it becomes infectious!

enid blyton's Mr Twiddle about an old man who annoyed his wife by doing very silly things , so was very funny! they were between 5-7 ish, in their 20s now! Took them to the library from when they were a few months. Used to show them pictures inthe cardboard books as they all progressed into avid readers Library every saturday morning then on to the park. called me nanny Park!

Our grandson (coming up to four soon) loves anything with dinosaurs in it and is an expert in naming the various types of those animals.

I love to read Winnie the Pooh’s to the youngest, ? that can’t dance for the middle grandson and roald Dahl story book...there is a set of 5hem and more for the eldest one.

I love reading any Dr Seuss books to my grandchildren very silly but lots of fun with brilliant illustrations

I love reading dear zoo its brilliant for interaction by making the animal noises and getting Freddie my grandson to to join in he has lots of giggles and he gets so excited and wants to fead it again again again

My grandchildren are young, I read ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen, and ‘The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child’ by Julia Donaldson.

My grandson loves animals and dinosaurs he has a blippi at the zoo book and we read that together every weekend, he does all the animal noises and knows all the animals he always says daddy, mummy and baby he’s so clever for a 2 year old and loves looking at all his books with nanny

The Snowman as it is such a lovely magical story , simply and beautifully told, capturing the memories of winter and Christmas for us all, whilst making new ones reading it to my grandson (who also adores Thomas!) ⛄️?

My own son loved any of the Thomas The Tank Engine stories but my grandchildren are now in New Zealand and I've been introduced to The Wonky Donkey which is hilarious, so maybe not a wind down bedtime story.

The tiger who came to tea I read it to my children and now my grandchildren I was a nursery nurse many years ago and it was always my go to book to cheer a child up

I am going to read THE BORROWERS to my 8 year old granddaughter when lockdown ends. It's the copy I have had from childhood, my favourite book.

The Troll (Julia Donaldson) - my grandson isn't a great lover of books but sits rapt to this and we have a very silly chase around when the troll has to walk the plank.

I loved reading 6 dinner Sid by Inga Moore, I think I enjoyed it more than the grandchildren, they lived it when he was found out.

Funny Bones was always a popular choice by my children as bedtime reading because it's such a funny story full of repetion, rhymes, singing (knee bone connected to the
thigh bone etc) and very importantly, a happy ending.
