"The Virus"? It's influenza, not the Black Death.
Wuhan Province, where it all began is called "China's Thoroughfare" it has 19 million residents and an ever-shifting visiting-trading population.
Of those 19 million, just over 840 people have actually died from The Virus there.
Some were elderly, malnourished and with poor opportunities for the kind of hygiene we in the West take for granted.
Multi-thousands have coughed and sneezed their way to a full recovery - as people do with influenza every single year.
World-wide, people are now so scared that companies are closing and laying people off. This is political, they dare not stay open in the face of mass lunacy.
This time, the difference is, that as a result of media-driven insanity, this virus has been able to make a LOT of people, a LOT of money. The pharmaceutical companies, who buy major air and press time, must be crowing.
I've just looked at some health statistics for the UK.
Annually, there are 165,000 deaths from cancer (that's 450 souls per day); 26,610 people killed or seriously injured on the road each year
My friend in New York is now refusing to leave the house because she is so scared and may stay off work for 3 months ! She has a responsible, well-paid job in a government agency.
To date, there have been 58 deaths put down to Covid-19 in the whole of the USA
Doesn't anyone but me think this is totally crazy?
