I’m going for my usual walk in the park. I have now been joined by three people from my building, and we all walk together, keeping a good distance. However, a couple of us are deaf, so conversation is punctuated by lots of “sorry? Can you say that again?” I do a leisurely stroll with them, say goodbye and do a ten minutes brisk walk by myself. None of us has health issues, but one friend suffers from depression, so it’s important for her to get out. I’m not seeing my family or my partner for a further two weeks, which I am hating, but it has to be done. At the end of the two weeks we will re-think.
What sounds remind you of your childhood home?
