My teacher son needs to go back to his college in India. He has been advised to have a CV19 test before flying. Have any of you required one by BA before flying?

If he needs a test, NHS won’t do it as he isn’t displaying symptoms, which is fair enough, but he can’t find any private testing places for it to be done in person; the test need to be no more than 96 hours before his flight. The other bummer is that he’s been quoted £120-£160 by the pharmacist who can’t do it!

A friend recently flew to Cyprus for a wedding, paid for a test 72 hrs prior to flying as did all passengers. On her return 5 days later she was contacted by a guest who had been diagnosed with CV19. That person will have been on a plane to & from Cyprus. Life is very tricky.
