I thought it was a good briefing. Priti Patel pushed the fact that the police have the powers to fine rule breakers. All three stressed the point that rule breakers are endangering others.
I too wish she would pronounce the g at the end of the words but still thought it was a good clear briefing.

It doesn't really matter what they said. It's whether they have any authority, so that people who might be inclined to break the rules will listen.

At least the government are visible, whether we like or agree with the messages or not, in other countries they’re silent. Damned if they do etc.

Which countries? I've watched quite a few briefings from leaders in other countries. Just curious.
