I think many will be asking what is the point of 2 jabs if we are still going to be restricted or worse still locked down.
I absolutely agree with this. Later this week I’m going to meet an old friend I haven’t seen for thirty years. We lost touch but managed to become acquainted again via Messenger. I live on the south coast and she lives in Lancashire, in a small place near, but not in, Greater Manchester. We’re having coffee together for an hour or so at the hotel she’s staying in, then they’re continuing with their holiday. Having had Covid I became a bit nervous about it, because I don’t want to be that ill again. However I gave myself a good talking to, and reminded myself that my husband and I are both fully vaccinated, and have any benefit there is to be had from actually having the disease. I checked that my friend had also been fully vaccinated, and they both are, not surprisingly. We’ll follow social distancing guidelines, and if possible sit outside, but with the weather as it is, it may not be possible. So I’m going ahead with the catch up. I don’t know what others think, but I’m thinking if I can’t meet a fully vaccinated friend, having been fully vaccinated myself, what is the point of the vaccine?
