# mum BERATING me!!!! Edit tool please!!?
By special request, let’s discuss our favourite Classic Music and why?
Which British song sums up the 1960s for you?
However I put this it’s going to sound sexist and it’s not at all, I had a wonderful father have a great son and lovely hard working sensible grandsons but …..
Listening to a radio ring in this morning it’s was basically all men ringing in saying I m not having the third injection (or
I m not having any injections or I m not carrying medical records) because I m not going to be told what to do!
When I watched the news last night of the demonstrations in London, it was all men screaming, shouting and threatening dreadful violence to the police what is it with some men is it the education status, is it their egos …... ?
I m not saying no women are acting so ridiculously but certainly this morning every ring in was a VERY belligerent sounding man
Don’t shoot me I m as far from a man hater as the moon is from me but it is a conversational observation

Social control! The virus itself is pretty darned good at social control!!
Some people are fighting the wrong enemy.
Well said luckygirl 3 ! I'm gonna remember that saying, and it's oh so true too! Self promotion and protection seems to be missing the huge syringe in the room.... I really miss their point? I remember my mum hearting me" if she told you to stick your hand in the fire would you?!" After I said I'd jumped off a high wall cos my mate told me it was babyish not to! I really hurt my chin....on the ground....all that face saving and it nearly mangled mine!
MEN what more can I say, they are obstinate from the minute they are born.
But do they spend their lives not doing what they are told or is it just the vaccination programme they object to, a thing which is saving lives, they might not be bothered about their own lives but why dont they think of others lives.Just get on with it and do as you are told for once, the shock might do them good.
It makes me laugh when people say they don't know what's in the vaccine. These are often the same people who take "recreational drugs" - cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy, cannabis - but they only do it at the weekend - it doesn't really count does it!! Do they know what's in those drugs??? A great big fat NO! Get a grip!
All laws are social coercion, but we abide by most of unthinkingly because they are for the good of society as a whole.
one of my grandaughters has pathelogical demand avoidance and has been diagnosed as autistic. she is hell to live with as she just will not do anything she is asked to do.
As far as vaccination is concerned, women , on the whole, seem to have an inbuilt way of thinking of others as well as theirselves whereas for many men, the world revolves just around them - possibly due to their mothers allowing them to get away with stuff that they never would for their daughters !
Last week there was a demonstration outside a new jail that is still in the process of being built, claiming that those that had not been vaccinated will be locked up in that jail and from the photos there were as many women as men in the demonstration!
Anti-vaxxers?? Don't want to be told what to do?? Protecting your rights?? Not much freedom in being dead. Not much freedom for those you infect, who may also be dead.
I think some of the point here is how things are phrased.
Surely no adult likes being TOLD to do something (most children don't either). A polite request works much better.
However, when it comes to controlling a pandemic and making sure that as few people as possible die of the disease, asking nicely doesn't do the trick.
If ASKED some will always say NO-
IMO governments everywhere should have made the vaccinations compulsory in the same way that smallpox vaccinations were compulsory for children starting school in most European countries, and the TB one was compulsory for adults working in any place with more than two or three adults.
School-teachers, nurses and doctors had to have an X-ray annually in Denmark until the mid 1980s to ensure that even although vaccinated they had not caught TB.
If there were people who for sound medical reasons could not be vaccinated, I presume they weren't, but I never heard of any.
Jehova's Witnesses who refused vaccinations had to work with each other, or be self-employed. Their constitutional right here to practise their religion has been held not to give them the right to place others at risk.
These rules applied in Denmark, and here there does not seem to be a difference along male-female lines regarding corona vaccinations and restrictions. It is much more along age lines. Teenagers and the 50+ are far more likely to say yes thank you to the vaccinations and to obey restrictions than the 20 to 50 group.
Perhaps they could reopen the nightingale hospitals; staff them with healthcare professionals who don’t want to be vaccinated, and will be unable to work; and use these for anti vaxers who contract the virus?
Presumably they’d be quite happy to be treated by unvaccinated staff.
Empty vessels make the most noise is the saying. Maybe no-one listens to these men at home/work so this was their one and only opportunity and they latched on to it.
Absolutely right
I think that the University of YouTube has a lot to answer for, many people seem to treat it as another gospel.
Absolutely right!

I respect people's rights to not be vaccinated. Along as they stay away from me and my family. As far as the passports are concerned each individual business can make their own rules at the moment. I would think that if restaurants and pubs want to stay open they may have to tow the line.
I agree, but the trouble is that there is not really a line to toe.
I would be much more likely to go to a venue that asked for proof of either vaccinations or a negative test result, but I don't know how they could set that up without a proper 'passport' set up. People can lie, and I'm not sure that I would believe everyone who said they'd tested negative.

Think there are as many women against it as men ,I'm one of them ,lots of women can't just go and protest as have family commitments
As you are one of the 'anti' demographic - can you tell us what it is that you object to?
I'm not being facetious - I'm genuinely interested.
Let me say that I'm not against anyone who feels qualms about forced vaccination, nor anyone who worries about the possible side effects of the vaccine. Though I admit I don't understand the resistance to wearing masks in overcrowded and unventilated areas, like public transport, etc.
I'm also aware that the way the government has / and is now / handling the crisis, leaves a lot to be desired, to put it mildly.
But in spite of this, I still don't understand the motivation behind the protests. Bearing in mind that this is a public health issue and the fate of our NHS, economy and people's lives depend on what action we do or don't take - can you explain?
A lady I know went for her 1st jab and was fuming at her husband because he wouldn't get it. I saw her a fortnight ago and low and behold she didn't bother getting her 2nd jab, never mind the booster. She had listened to her husband and his friends as to why she should not get it and believed it all and is as bad as they are now. They go to anti vacs rallies, etc shouting their opinions. I just pray that they don't lose someone close to them to this virus, they won't be quick to shout about it then.
I respect people's rights to not be vaccinated. Along as they stay away from me and my family. As far as the passports are concerned each individual business can make their own rules at the moment. I would think that if restaurants and pubs want to stay open they may have to tow the line.
And what about all those professional football players, 30% I believe, who are refusing a vaccine. They are role models for many young people and should be ashamed of themselves. Being fit and healthy is no protection from a virus.
I always wonder if it's testosterone having an effect on men? Can't blame hormones but maybe it's a consideration.

I understand that more men than women are dying of/with COVID. I do wish however we were given more information with these statistics as we were at the start of the pandemic. Such as age, underlying health issues, sex, ethnicity. We can then be more aware of what our own risks are. Having said that I have had both jabs and booster (and flu jab) without this information.
What a sensible comment, yes I totally agree. We really could do with more in - depth knowledge of who is at greatest risk. We are grown-ups. Better demographic information would be so much more useful. Despite the mob making a racket, I for one will still have anything that we're advised by the scientific community to take, what has been done on behalf of humanity by these amazing people will not get proper recognition for decades, a bit like the Bletchley work.
Getting back to the theme here, I'm afraid, whatever the gender, the adage of empty vessels making the most noise seems to apply.
I pity the Emergency Services having to deal with violent morons, and putting themselves at risk of harm, when they have better things to do.
Refuseniks are at least one of these:? selfish, stupid or cowards. Many men fall into the latter women are used to having bodily intrusions for their own good. Males not so - so they resent it. They think it’s manly we know it’s not.
Love this!
Men believe most of what they are told, see or read that is controversial or conspiratorial. It gives them a reason to beat their breast and vent their masculine spleen with one another until it’s time to eat or go to beddy bi-bows. Sorry if that sounds sexist but my OH was shielding for 18 months and is now retired and the amount of hot air rubbish and blather I have had to half listen to is beyond belief. Now that his old codger pals are emerging from their imposed hibernation it’s like serving tea and scones in the afternoon to the belligerent old gits club. Thankfully, they are all fully vaccinated and don’t remember half of what they’ve procrastinated about after the words have fallen out of their faces.
Why anyone sees facasks and vaccination as threatening their freedoms can't be aware of the proposed limits to our freedom to demonstrate peacefully in public, threats to the polital freedom of the judicial process, curtailment of rights to travel and work in Europe etc etc....
