This after spending the afternoon in parliament sitting near the PM and, like most MP’s on the government benches, making a point of not wearing a mask.

ah they will all come down like flies now, so they can hide. Will Boris be at death's door again!

mokryna Mon 31-Jan-22 21:32:53

His baby daughter had it recently, didn’t she?

Your sympathy speaks volumes

Yes, I know. I am afraid comments on another thread have really upset me. Excusing he inexcusable, and being massively insulting in the process.

So yes, I knew as I pressed the Post button that it would not be well received. Ah well.

logging off because I say something I will really regret.

She only said what most of us are thinking.

Still, it makes a better excuse than a holiday or a fridge.

Does this mean that she won't be able to fly off to the Ukraine and/or Moscow. That would be good. Perhaps Johnson can get another bout (mild - I'm not wishing anything horrible to happen to him) but the thought that he will speak to Putin scares me somewhat.

Wishing illness or misfortune on anybody is unjustified in my book regardless.
Did Keir Starmer have an ulterior motive when he self-isolated all those times, 6, wasn’t it, after being in contact with Covid?

I think you've shown your true colours.

Coastpath Mon 31-Jan-22 21:52:02

I didn't read it as wishing illness on anyone. "Will Boris be at death's door again" sound like a question not a wish to me.

MayBeMaw Mon 31-Jan-22 21:59:08

A very cynical one IMO.

Deedaa Mon 31-Jan-22 22:02:21

Unfortunately a few years of Boris has made some of us incredibly cynical.

JaneJudge Mon 31-Jan-22 22:02:34

I was thinking today, whilst at work..why does he never visit medium sized firms, fridges not big enough for his small, fat body to fit in

lemsip Mon 31-Jan-22 22:05:57

Kali2
ignore her. I share your view.

Here's a thought... perhaps they could have put on masks.

Little bit of paper. Beyond them.

These comments insinuating that Johnson was not really ill when he had Covid are truly sickening because they are yet another underhand swipe at the medical staff at St Thomas's and an insinuation that they were lying about him being ill.

Callistemon21 Mon 31-Jan-22 22:21:17

Not aimed at you Coastpath but it really is an unfair, underhand criticism of St Thomas's medical staff yet again.

MayBee70 Mon 31-Jan-22 22:30:15

Maybe if she wore a mask in parliament to protect others I would sympathise with her. But didn’t Rees Mogg say they didn’t need to wear masks because they all know each other.

Weren't they on camera in the HOC maskless?

Sunak had a mask on but think he was the only one though I may have missed others who were too.

glammagran Mon 31-Jan-22 22:41:50

I thought Ian Blackford was going to spontaneously combust. Boris is a skinny minnie in comparison.
