Having read the thread on hymns I wonder if we might enjoy a good virtual sing together? There'd be no one to complain or overhear us individually 'gieing it laldy'.
We could choose a hymn/song and set a time to start. Me in my small corner...

Oo er Katek, that’s a bit topical.

Oops....never thought of it in that context! Was just one of my favourite Tom Lehrer songs.

'I drank some champagne from your shoe la la la,
I was drunk by the time I got through
la la la,
I didn't know when I lifted that cup,
It had taken 2 bottles to fill the thing up!'

Why do I remember these lines when I completely forgot an ex colleague's name today?

You obviously have a better relationship with the bottle....???

My old man said, "Follow the van, and don't dilly dally on the way!"
Off went the van wiv me 'ome packed innit, I came behind wiv me ol' cock linnet - but I dillied and dallied, dallied and dillied, lost me way an don't know where to roam.....oh you can't trust a Special like the old time coppers, when you can't find you way 'ome.

Enjoyed that smile

Now is the Hour-----Po Atarau, Maori.
I'll never forget the All Blacks singing that on the flight to Heathrow when their first match was with Wales that week of their tour.
